A world-famous swan

Posted by Wohnreich on

In 1905, the choreographer Mikhail Fokine wrote for the ballet Swan Lake
the dance solo of the dying swan.
Anna Pavlova took on the role and became a celebrated world star overnight.
The story with its dramatic ending still enchants us today
big and small.

The recording from 1966 is enchanting, moving and tragic.
The dancers of the
Vienna State Opera Ballet.

...and if you want to have lots of petite prima ballerinas dancing on the cake,
please go this way.
