Zurich with youth, women's movement & Occupy

Posted by Wohnreich on

Actually, I just wanted to enjoy Zurich with my 12-year-old daughter yesterday.
In addition to the obligatory meal at Tibits , we visited various shops in the Oberdorf and Niederdorf. The large shopping centres on Bahnhofstrasse and the
We meandered through the alleys at the St. Peter Tower until we took a break at the Lindenhof. Anyone who knows the square knows that it is an oasis of calm in the middle of the action. You can really relax between the bocce balls and chess pieces. Yesterday, however, the Occupy protest movement was on the move and the demonstration for International Women's Day was on the Limmatquai. So the air at the Lindenhof was filled with police sirens and there was never a shortage of things to talk about between me and my daughter.
But we still enjoyed Zurich.
A lot.
And Zurich with its youth, women’s movement and Occupy provides some food for thought and is inspiring at the same time.

...what is your inspiration?
