The patchwork crochet blankets have simply become indispensable.
They remind me of grandma's house.
I wonder why kitschy things are so trendy these days?
Is our fast-moving society reflecting on real values?
Are we looking for a piece of a perfect world?
The fact is, everything that reminds us of days gone by is hip!
Last weekend, I was sitting across from a woman on the London subway who was calmly knitting a sweater. Just watching her put me in a deep state of calm in the middle of a city of millions.
The crochet and knitting fever brings some nice side effects.
