The long trip to the grandparents, to the beach or to the museum. By plane, car or train.
For children - and adults - minutes turn into hours. I used to sit in the back seat of my father's car as one of four girls. The curve game was popular among us girls. At every turn and bend, you would simply fall into the direction of travel. How we screamed and laughed. The hours turned into minutes.
